CleanCut Technologies, an American company, has launched a new "vault" solution as an alternative to bag packaging for protecting medical devices. The new system takes advantage of the flexibility and versatility of the HDPE bag clips on CleanCut's universal thermoformed trays.
CleanCut's bag clips have several retention elements and are designed to offer flexibility to meet the different requirements of medical device manufacturers.
When inserted into the universal tray, the custom small bag clips enable users to make necessary changes easily, reducing related costs and shortening the mold adjustment and manufacturing time required for tray replacement.
CleanCut's bag clips have several retention elements, providing design flexibility to meet the different requirements of medical device manufacturers.
The new solution is expected to help medical device manufacturers reduce validation time related to product changes and product line expansions, and be able to release similar devices belonging to the same series.
After validating the "vault", the same tray can be used to launch other devices. There is no need for validation based on density, design, and appropriate reasons; only minor modifications to the clips are necessary.
CleanCut produces bag clips using recyclable packaging materials in its ISO-certified Class 8 cleanroom.
Afterwards, they are sent to the Class 7 cleanroom for cleaning, assembly inspection, and packaging in double-layer polyethylene bags, and finally labeled.
