   Overview
The double-flap cover packaging developed by PLACON for PACLOCK, the Pacific Lock Company, provides 100% marketing space for consumer information.

    Product Features
The new double-flap PACLOCK flip-top packaging offers consumers the opportunity to touch the product before purchase without the risk of theft. The open-flap back panel design provides PACLOCK with 100% marketing and graphic display space to convey important product and brand information. The packaging design allows consumers to open and close the back panel to read and better understand the product.

Current packaging on the market uses simple front and back blister or flip-top designs. The flip-top flip packaging can increase size, and its back panel can be opened and closed. This packaging can accommodate each of the five lock models, thereby improving SKU efficiency and only requiring one order of packaging to fit all five products.
    Alternative injection molding
In most cases, similar packaging will be manufactured using injection molding. However, with precise trimming and tooling options, we can design lighter packaging that can be thermoformed into one piece during production. The result is a simplified production and assembly process to create packaging that allows consumers to touch and feel the product without it being stolen or damaged.
The packaging is a single thermoformed piece that can be nested when placed in a packaging box. It is made of PET material and is recyclable. When the assembly facility opens the packaging, they can easily take them out of the transport packaging box and manually package them through simple welding to ensure that the packaging is sealed and fixed. By adopting single-piece packaging, it reduces labor and improves warehouse efficiency because the packaging can be neatly stacked in the transport carton. Once the packaging process is completed, the packaging will be able to support heavier locks and keys during transportation.
