To meet the demands of its extensive customer base, Wilbert Plastic Services has expanded its thermoforming capabilities and introduced soft-touch thermoformed products made from thermoplastic olefin (TPO). This new manufacturing technology enables the production of flexible plastic products that not only offer a soft feel but also possess the characteristics of rigid TPO components.

Bob Gray, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, stated, "Wilbert's soft-touch materials and thermoforming processes provide our customers with new aesthetic options, along with low mold costs, superior material performance, durability, sound absorption, and impact strength, making them suitable for a wide range of applications."

Wilbert Plastic Services currently supplies thermoformed products to the automotive, heavy truck, agricultural, recreational vehicle, and medical markets, manufacturing critical parts and assemblies using various materials. The soft-touch materials can achieve a variety of special properties, including multiple texture options, anti-slip properties, chemical resistance, and sound or heat insulation.

Wilbert's soft-touch products are produced at its thermoforming facilities in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, and Belmont, North Carolina.
